How We Play Game Show Mania

Team Trivia or Singles - You Decide

Our trivia game can be configured for two or four teams or single players. One of the unique aspects of this trivia game is that it can be tailored to adapt to any number of players or time constraints.

The Format

Thom Dot Com, the trivia MC, will ask a series of 6 trivia questions. Each question is short and relatively easy. Once a player knows the answer, he or she presses the yellow button on the podium in front of them. The action locks the other players out and they have 10 seconds to give an answer. If correct, points are awarded, the system resets and everyone has a chance to buzz in for the next question.

At the end of the 6 questions, the team or player with the most points is the winner of that round and will survive to play again.

What are the Questions?

Our trivia question topics include American pop culture: movies, TV shows, cartoons, commercials and jingles and simple everyday common knowledge things.

The questions are designed to be easy enough for both young and old. The idea is to have fun, not embarrass people. Think the first 5 questions of the familiar "Millionaire" game show, or questions like the Tonight show's "Jaywalking" questions.

Sing? ... Dance? ... Air Guitar?!

Oh yeah! Every round, players may have to sing the next line, perform a commonly known dance (like the hokey pokey or Macarena) and maybe even play air guitar for their points. For a bonus, the audience may elect to vote for their favorite performers.
